Discover Ürgüp (Prokopi) on foot

Ürgüp, one of the nicest downtowns of Cappadocia, has witnessed all the eras of history such as; Hittites, Romans, Byzantines, Seldjuks, Ottomans, Greeks, whilst welcoming the new nation version of Turks. It's still a multicultural and multilingual area, banding together history and memories.

Cappadocia, as well as Ürgüp has many breathtaking sites waiting to be explored. Here is the chance given to you, to explore beautiful landscape accompanied by a local guide, speaking your language. Co-operating with the Lirita Travel, will make it even more real with the stories, with the spirit of rocks, and mystic atmosphere.

We meet at Cafe Art Galeria at scheduled time and start our hiking and give an end to our hiking at this point, maybe who knows at Prokopi Turkish Bath which is next to our building, can be told as one of the most famous activity done solely by local people for relaxing, feel the warmth on the rounded- marble Stone, scrobbed by a Tellak.

The walk goes through the oldest Yunak District, visiting the oldest Greek houses ,and The wish hill which was visited as a real wishing point. Later on we go through to Kayakapı to discover mixed cultural and historical monuments. Churches, mosques, mansions, houses, fountains.

At the end of our hiking we will be visiting the Ürgüp Archeological Museum displays the history and the artefacts starting from Paleolothic Ages up today.

The Turkish Bath will be the end of our tour!!

Turkish Bath can be optional according to your wishes, which makes the tour price less.
