A complimentary pick-up and return service is available to passengers staying at one of the hotels in Urgup, Nevsehir and Avanos towns, and Uchisar, Goreme, Ortahisar, Mustafapasa, Cavusin and Ayvali villages.
When you purchase or redeem a balloon tour voucher you become legally bound by these terms and conditions. Please do not proceed and purchase or redeem a voucher until you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. When you ask for your balloon tour reservation to be confirmed, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between cappadocia.travel and yourself. Balloon tours are operated by Yaver Tourism Aviation Advertising Ltd.
Hot air balloon tour bookings can also be made by phone, e-mail or fax. There is no cost for making a reservation and cancellation. There is no fee for changing dates and/ or time, unless there are changes less than 24 hours before the flight.
Confirmation and e-ticket/voucher
Your tour confirmation will be made upon receipt of your credit card details. An electronic ticket (e-ticket/voucher) confirmation will be provided not later than 30 days prior to your tour/activity or within 72 hours (if the tour/activity is in less than 30 days). The e-ticket will be sent to you by e-mail; simply enter your reservation number on your e-mail. It is the customer's responsibility to print the e-ticket/voucher and present it on the date of the tour.
Customers may be asked to reconfirm the tour/activity two or three days prior to it by calling the telephone number provided on the e-ticket or website, as the purpose of the call is to confirm the departure time and hotel pick-up (if applicable). When you call to reconfirm (if your tour/activity includes a hotel pick-up), be sure to check the time and find out which place at your hotel will be used for the pick-up.
Refunds and flight cancellations
Hot air ballooning is heavily reliant upon the weather and especially the speed of the wind. The flights are early in the morning to maximize the chance of the wind on the surface being calm. Although most of the time the decision to fly is clear-cut, sometimes the decision about what the weather is doing, can be quite difficult. On the hard days, the professional pilots are up and about in the wee hours of the morning, gathering as much meteorological information as they can to make the best informed decision. The endeavour is never to change a confirmed booking. However, if it is necessary, you will be advised without delay and alternative comparable arrangements will be offered.
- No charges apply for cancellations made before than 48 hours.
- 48 hours before departure date: 50% of tour total charged.
- 24 hours before departure date: 100% of tour total charged.
*** If the flight is cancelled, you can either reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
The following payment methods are accepted: VISA or MASTERCARD, cash and travellers cheque. You can make the full payment on the tour day as well; however, your credit card number will still be required just to hold the places.
The "caring for the customer" rating is an aggregate score for the five parameters we survey (Service of Staff, Quality of Information, Overall Experience, Safety/Organization and Overall Impression/ Value for money). There must be a minimum of 3 traveller ratings we can average before we display a rating for the tour. We also age traveller ratings and discard any that are over twelve months old.
