The 250-year-old house which has been restored in 2008 is one of the fine examples a Cappadocia village house. Along with a Turkish style breakfast and local food, the Lusi Evi also provides special food cooked in "Tandir" called tandoori like stone oven. Siggi Imal and Luzia Eggerschwiler-Schneider, and the name Lusi Evi reflect the initial letters of these two names. "Evi" means "house" in Turkish, i.e. overall "Luzia's and Siggi's house".
